The Allegheny was designed with retreat in mind. The cabin design includes a front porch, perfect for your post-sauna furniture. The sloped roof makes it perfect for all weather, and adds a spacious feel to the interior with high ceilings. The sauna room has two bench levels. If you prefer high heat, you can lounge on the top or move to the bottom bench for a cooler sauna experience. The sauna room can be paired with either a Harvia 8kW electric heater or a wood-burning stove. Both are designed to heat the space up to around 180ºF, and the electric heater has a delay function up to eight hours! The sauna has space to accommodate up to six people. With the Allegheny, you’ll be hosting sauna parties in no time in this cabin sauna. No roofing shingles material will be included.

Customizations:
- Lumber Type : The Allegheny is constructed using thick Nordic spruce pieces of lumber. This sturdy lumber is perfect for a free-standing sauna, and offers plenty of natural insulation.
- Heater : You can upgrade the Allegheny from the standard 8kW KIP heater to a digital 8kW KIP with WiFi compatibility.
- Sauna Type : Heater and stones are essential to a traditional sauna experience. With the room at least heated to 160ºF, the traditional sauna can be enjoyed in two ways. The first is called a dry sauna, which lacks any added moisture. The second is called a wet sauna, where you sprinkle water onto the heated stones to create a refreshing burst of steam and added humidity.

Care & Maintenance:
Traditional saunas require very little upkeep. Simply wipe down the interior after each use and check for any dust or debris that you may have tracked in. Read more about long-term care and maintenance here.
Shipping :
The Allegheny will ship via flatbed.
Our Scandinavian outdoor saunas, shipped from our Canadian warehouse, are delivered right to your curb. We'll call you when your sauna is ready to ship and then email you the tracking details. The transport company will then contact you to schedule delivery once it reaches their local terminal.
Included with the delivery:
Sauna Crate
You'll receive a crate with the sauna materials. The delivery driver may assist in lowering the crate, but you'll need tools to open it and at least two people to unload the components. This typically takes about 30 - 45 minutes.
Glass Window (if applicable):
If you've ordered a special glass back, it'll arrive on a separate pallet. We try to synchronize the delivery of both items, but they may come separately. Check and note any missing items on delivery paperwork.
Sauna heater, rocks and controls:
When shipped with your sauna, they will arrive on a separate pallet. If they’re shipped directly from the manufacturer, we'll provide tracking information and coordinate the delivery timing of the heater with your sauna.
Accessories:
Basic sauna accessories will arrive with your sauna. Other items like LED lights or salt panels are shipped separately and may arrive without needing a signature.
Delivery Paperwork:
Before signing, ensure all items listed are received and take photos of the crate/pallets. This helps us assist you if there are missing or damaged items.
* If you're located in a remote area or a place where standard delivery trucks might have difficulty accessing, please inform us. We'll work out a specialized delivery plan for you, though this may require additional shipping charges. *
