Customer Responsibilities & Site Preparation

This page outlines what falls under the customer’s responsibility when purchasing a Northern Saunas product — particularly regarding electrical work, site preparation, delivery access, and warranty cooperation.

Failure to meet these responsibilities may result in additional costs, delays, or warranty limitations.


1) Electrical Responsibilities

  • All electrical work must be completed by a licensed electrician.
  • Electrical work is not included with any sauna installation service.
  • Customer must verify wiring route, breaker, amperage, and heater location before booking an electrician.
  • All electrical costs are 100% the customer’s responsibility.

This video is provided for reference only. All electrical work must comply with local codes and be completed by a licensed electrician.

2) Site Preparation & Base Requirements

  • Base must be level, stable, and structurally adequate.
  • Customer is responsible for ensuring proper access: doors, gates, stairs, hallways, ceiling height.
  • Customer must verify local building codes and permits.
  • Inadequate preparation may result in re-delivery fees, extra labor, or return costs.

3) Delivery Conditions

  • Standard delivery is curbside / driveway only.
  • Moving crates to the final location is the customer’s responsibility.
  • Customer must arrange manpower, moving equipment, or cranes if required.
  • Northern Saunas is not responsible for carrier delays or access limitations.

4) Warranty Troubleshooting Cooperation

  • Warranty service requires full cooperation with troubleshooting steps.
  • This includes photos, videos, error codes, and electrician verification.
  • Failure to cooperate may delay or void warranty support.
